project description

The DCM Admin project is the renovation of existing space on the north side of the I-Wing, 4th floor in the Health Sciences Center. This will house the Dept. of Comparative Medicine's new administrative offices (approximately 6000SF) for staff providing animal care, veterinarian services and individuals responsible for compliance with regulations affecting all animals at the University with the exception of non-human primates. The scope includes: demolition of existing labs and offices, abatement of hazardous materials as necessary, updates to infrastructure as necessary, new lighting, new finishes for ceilings, walls and floors, security installations, and new furnishings.

Wilson Jones Commissioning, LLC provided Commissioning Authority services for this project through all phases of the construction process.  Activities performed for commissioning included:

·        Performed site visits

·        Created and Performed functional performance tests (FPT’s)

·        Tracked system issues and deficiencies

·        Assisted with the troubleshooting and resolution of controls and operational issues

Pneumatic Dual Duct Air Terminal Unit System, Domestic Hot Water System, Lighting Controls System, Daylighting Controls and Switching Receptacles.
