project description

Located in the Immunex Process Development Facility, the Cell Banking Suite provided a new clean room suite for pharmaceutical research. This project was regulated by the Food and Drug Administration and was required to be validated. Wilson Jones Consulting provided an expanded commissioning service for this project that integrated into Immunex’s validation process. As a result, the commissioning process was able to satisfy 90% of the validation requirements.

WJC (under CDi Engineers) was subcontracted by the General Contractor to provide Test Engineering services. WJC’s responsibilities included creation of the commissioning plan, commissioning schedule, organizing the participation of the subcontractors, writing/performing the functional performance tests, gathering all startup documentation into the final commissioning binder/report, integrating the commissioning process into the FDA validation process, and assisting in the resolution of problems encountered.
