project description

Demolition of existing boilers and associated systems, asbestos abatement, furnish and install two new condensation boilers and associated work, install new air handler, energy controls work, final commissioning work and underground storage tank decommissioning. Condensing boiler replacement on multiple Seattle School District schools.

services provided

Wilson Jones Commissioning was retained to provide commissioning services for the boiler systems and associated control system upgrades at five elementary schools: Graham Hill, Thornton Creek, Schmitz Park, Northgate and Arbor Heights.  The original scope was changed and postponed one year with Schmitz Park and Arbor Heights removed from the line-up and Sacajawea added.  Wilson Jones Commissioning provided the following services: commissioning review of the mechanical design documents, prepared commissioning plans and specifications, MEP submittal review, installation verification, written functional tests, summarized testing deficiencies in a commissioning deficiency log, reviewed the contractor’s O&M documentation, coordinated staff training, and attended meetings and prepared commissioning reports.
