project description

This project renovated an existing copy room and associated space into a book and paper conservation lab on the 5th floor of the 1960's connector building in Suzzallo Library. This project included the demolition of existing walls, casework, ceiling and floor finishes. It provided new utility power, lighting, modular lab casework and benches, walls ceilings and architectural finishes to current UW lab standards. The project consists of an open lab work area with associated administrative and storage rooms and an administrative office. Also included in this project is the installation of a new fume hood, dedicated fume hood ducting to the roof (one level up) and associated fume hood fan equipment.
