project description
This project is a new, 2-story building to house the UW Men’s Baseball Team and Coaching staff. It includes locker rooms, a training room, showers, meeting rooms, offices and a field viewing deck. There is also a study room, video room and additional offices for baseball staff. A second phase will add a grandstand to the building.

Wilson Jones Commissioning provided commissioning authority services for the General Contractor. After a review of design documents and O&Ms, WJC prepared and executed functional performance tests.
systems tested
Mechanical systems included heat recovery ventilator, exhaust systems, and a Mitsubishi VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) System. Plumbing systems included electric water heater and storage tanks, a thermostatic mixing valve and a recirculation pump. The electrical systems include a building Lighting Control Panel which is used to schedule the exterior and corridor lights. All occupied spaces are equipped with occupancy sensors. Photocells are installed throughout the daylighting zones. The Electrical Contractor assisted in testing of the Lighting Control Panel and the Loss of Power & Recovery test.
