project description

This campus is a new, 2,000 bed correctional facility for the State of Washington.

There are a total of 27 buildings in the first phase of construction for the site. Detention facilities include one minimum security building, five medium security buildings, one maximum security building, and one segregation building. Other support buildings include programming for libraries, classrooms, recreation facilities, food service, healthcare, industries training, and administration.

The HVAC systems incorporated a complex smoke evacuation mode, allowing the safe and orderly egress of inmates during a lockdown condition.
